How To Set Preferences

The recruiting needs tab in your NCSA Coach account is the most important page for you to fill out. It allows us to ensure we are sending qualified recruits your way, it impacts a recruit's match percentage with your program, and it also helps recruits to understand exactly what you are looking for.

To set up recruiting preferences, click on your recruiting needs tab. You have the ability to set email preferences, academic minimums, geographic locations, and positions.

There are 3 different types of emails we send your way. There are the match %, follow, and interested. Match emails are sent when a recruit has a 70%+ match with your school. Follow emails are sent when a recruit you are following makes an update to their profile. Interested emails are sent when a recruit marks your school as being interested in.

Academics is fairly self-explanatory, but important to set your minimum GPA, SAT, and ACT scores.

You also have the ability to set which states, and if applicable internationally, you typically recruit from.

Lastly, the positions tab is a fantastic way to share with recruits which positions and grad years you are or are not recruiting. You are able to individual select "yes" or "done" for individual positions, and turn on and off particular grad years. NOTE- "seniors" turn to the following grad year (i.e 2022's become seniors) in late August.
