I have helped more than 2,500 NCSA student-athletes commit to a college swim programs! As a former collegiate head coach and a former collegiate swimmer, I now get to share all of the knowledge I gained over those years with the next generation of student-athletes and their families in order to help them find their absolute best college fit.

There was so much that I simply didn’t know about recruiting as a high school swimmer, and I did not know how to maximize my opportunities. Thankfully, I was very happy swimming at Millikin University, where I later spent 5 years as an assistant and then head coach. But my favorite part of working at NCSA is when a student tells me that they committed to a school that they didn’t even know existed before NCSA! It is very fulfilling when they find it with our help, and it ends up being everything they were looking for and more.

I was a 4-year college student-athlete for Eastern Illinois University.  I was a versatile swimmer, swimming events such as the Mile to the 200 Free and all four strokes.  Eastern is a medium size Division I school.  This was important to me as I had time for school, friends, and other outside activities.  During my time at Eastern, our Men’s and Women’s teams were conference Champs.  This will be my first year working with NCSA.  I feel this is a great opportunity for me to give back to student-athletes what knowledge I obtained as a collegiate athlete.   I am from Indianapolis, Indiana, yet currently reside in Houston, Texas.  I am a sponsored Ironman Triathlete, enjoy traveling, scuba diving, reading, and watching movies in my leisure time.

In High School, I was one of the most decorated NYSPHAA student-athletes and the youngest athlete to qualify and place in the top 10 as a 7th Grader in New York State. I was a 2x State Champion and 2x Runner-up. I was highly recruited coming out of High School as a top 25 recruit. I decided to stay close to home, where I went on to captain the swimming and diving team at Niagara University. While at Niagara, I received the MAAC Conference Most Outstanding Male Diver for the 2009, 2011, and 2012 seasons. I was also the ECAC Most Outstanding Male Diver in 2009 and 2011.

After graduation, I still felt I had more in the tank so I moved out to Indiana where I made a run for the 2016 Olympic Trials. As a Senior National Elite Level diver, I competed extensively on the National Circuit in all disciplines including Men’s 1m, 3m, synchro, and platform events respectively. I was even cast to be a high diver on the Royal Caribbean at one point.

I have extensive experience coaching at various camps, clinics, and workshops throughout the United States and was a clinician at the 2016 US Olympic Trials. I was awarded the MAAC Diving Coach of the Year in 2014, 2016, and 2017. I also served as an assistant coach both for Purdue and the University of Arkansas. I have had the opportunity to work alongside and train with some of the greatest minds in the sport.

In addition to my role as a recruiting coach, I am a frequent traveler and wellness ambassador. I love trying new things and meeting new people.

While studying business marketing I attended Eastern Illinois University for four years as a collegiate swimmer. I was also a member of the student investment society and a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

The thing that is most exciting about working for NCSA is the opportunity to help families decide on the perfect fit for their children! Making this process less stressful and more enjoyable for families is something I can take pride in and at the end of the day brings me joy.
